Fashion Schmashion

I googled Fashion for women over "a certain age".  Found this awesome helpful hint.

Don't expose your upper arms and neck: these are both tricky areas for most women over a certain age.

Yet another kick in the belly of the aging woman.  

Mindfulness

Somehow, I've gotten myself in a place where the mundane tasks of everyday life, outside of my studio, have become an inconvenience. They anger me. With teeth clenched, I hurry through them. Washing dishes, folding laundry and sweeping are sacred. Ahhh, the miracle of mindfulness.

Brown Cargo Pants

With much sadness, I put my dog walking cargo pants in the trashcan. They were threadbare. This is difficult. I'd really rather not talk about it.

3 years!

It's been so long since i've written on this blog. So much has happened. My son...married. My daughter...engaged. My dog....aging. Carlos....still looking for work. Myself....thinking about letting my hair go grey. I still have not decided to let it go. But am very much enjoying meeting my new hair color.

every morning

every morning i wake up, turn on my laptop and look at the NYT headlines. I always hope and pray that i see "something" but i never do. I won't write what i hope i see because I might end up in jail.
